5th Grade Biome Project

Before your team begins their biome newspaper, you must locate answers to the following questions:
  • What is the climate of the region like? Rainfall and temperature?
  • Where is each biome found and what is the geography like? Landforms and bodies of water?
  • What are the special adaptations of the vegetation?
  • What types of animals are found in the biome and what are their physical and behavioral adaptations to the environment?
* Remember to include references (the website, encyclopedia, or book where you found your science facts) in your notes for the final project. To use a website as a reference, write down the url, or address, of the site and the date you accessed the site. Google is not a reference; it is a search engine that helps you find another site. Glogster@CMS

The virtual poster above is an example of what you can do to showcase the research you do in library. It was made using Glogster EDU. This semester we will continue to learn how to do e-research and use media without infringing on the rights of artists and writers.
