5th Grade Biome Project

Before your team begins their biome newspaper, you must locate answers to the following questions:

• What is the climate of the region like? Rainfall and temperature?
• Where is each biome found and what is the geography like? Landforms and bodies of water?
• What are the special adaptations of the vegetation?
• What types of animals are found in the biome and what are their physical and behavioral adaptations to the environment?

* Remember to include references (the website, encyclopedia, or book where you found your science facts) in your notes for the final project. To use a website as a reference, write down the url, or address, of the site and the date you accessed the site. Google is not a reference; it is a search engine that helps you find another site.
